Favorites

With the Emmy's being this past weekend, pictures of the worst/best dressed started to surface everywhere. Although I did not watch the Emmy's I did look around to see which dresses made my best dressed list. Here are a few of my favorites. Olivia Wilde always seems to make my favorites list. I could see a version of her dress and Leighton Meester's as a wedding dress. Lot's of fun and different ideas to play with here. Did you have any favorites?

Bridal Bar Grand Opening Featured

Atlanta's own Jezebel magazine featured The Bridal Bar's fabulous opening for its current issue. To my surprise I was in one of the pictures as well as other fabulous Bridal Bar Vendors, including. Iliyas Rahman and owner Dolvett Quince from Body Sculptor, Inc , and Layne Lee from Sweet N' Sinful Bakery. Also pictured are the fabulous ladies from Southern Weddings Magazine, and Bridal Bar owner Rebecca Hansmann. Pick up a copy from your local stores to read about the opening along with information on Atlanta's best boutiques, fall fashion, travel and events.

Pink, Feathers, and Something Blue

I was looking thru some images this week and saw some that really caught my eye. I'm loving pink and feathers at the moment ( working on a all feather dress for a client at the moment) and these images really showed ways to incorporate them into a wedding. Shoes are such a fun way to bring color and personality to your look. One of my brides getting married in October is wearing Blue Christian Louboutin heels as her something blue. I loved that idea. Whether it be pink, feathers, or something blue, finding ways to showcase your personality on your wedding day is a must.

3 Year Anniversary!

I can't believe it's been 3 years since Jared and I got married at The Fox Theatre. God has blessed and continues to bless. I'm so thankful for all these 3 years have brought, and look forward to many more. A few pictures of our special day taken by Garrett Nudd Photography (Love them) I was such a fun adventure to design my own gown, and it was after my wedding that I decided I would offer such a wonderful opportunity to other brides also. Cheers to 3 years!!

Colorado Trip

Went out to Colorado this past weekend for a clients wedding. I had not been to the Rocky Mountains before. Such stunning scenery, just beautiful. Spent most the weekend exploring the mountains and seeing nature. I will definitely have to go back again for some camping and hiking.
